Maggie Grace and Maggie Gyllenhaal

Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21, 1983) is a famous American actress. Most notably, she appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. She was born in Worthington, Ohio and dropped out of high school after her parents separated to go in Los Angeles to live with her mother. They were struggling to survive and was offered her first part in the acting world in Rachel's Room's lead character. In the following year, she was awarded a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 for her performance as fifteen-year-old victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder which aired in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford played the lead actress on Lost in its two initial seasons. In 2004, she was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award with all the cast. Grace, who had worked with Tom Welling on The Fog in the year 2005, wanted to move into the world of film. She appeared in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) and also starred alongside Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in 2008. The same character was played by Grace in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace returned to the character as Shannon in two more episodes of Lost including the series finale. In 2013 she appears in the sixth episode of Californication. She is Faith, a groupie who serves as a model for the stars, and draws the eye from Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She's a Gyllenhaal, the daughter of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), she is a bit older that Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began as a teenager with small appearances in his films. She also appeared alongside her brother in the cult favorite Donnie Darko (2001). She appeared next in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal has received acclaim from critics for her performances as the lead in the romantic erotic comedy Secretary (2002) as well as the dramatic Sherrybaby (2006) each of which brought her an Golden Globe Award nomination. Following a string of commercially successful movies in 2006 such as World Trade Center she received greater recognition for her performance as Rachel Dawes in the superhero film The Dark Knight (2008). As the single mother, in Crazy Heart (2009) she got a nomination in the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She then was in comedies and dramas such as Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011, and Won't Back Down 2012 Other roles she has played include Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 an action thriller) and actors in Frank (2014, drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018) as well as The kindergarten teacher. In 2021, Gyllenhaal has made her scriptwriting and directing debut with the psychological drama The Lost Daughter for which she was awarded the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated to win the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
