Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. When she was only five and moved to Oxfordshire and attended her first Dragon School. Emma was six years old when she decided that she wanted to become an actress. The actress trained for several years at Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a Part-time theatre school located in Oxford where she studied acting and singing. It was already her turn to perform in various Stagecoach as well as school plays when she was ten years old. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, the 2001 film adaptation from J.K. Rowling's bestselling book was filmed in 1999. Emma was discovered by casting agents through Emma's Oxford theatre instructor. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint after auditioning for eight times. They were selected as three leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. The debut of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's film debut. The movie broke all records with regards to opening day and weekend sales, and it was the highest-grossing film of 2001. The film was praised by people who have read it, along with the performance of three new stars. The Daily Telegraph, an influential British newspaper, praised Emma's performance "amazing". Emma's performance was nominated and received five awards for the film.
